We would like to share with you an open call that may be of interest to you, as part of the European project DIREKTION, in which CTIF is a partner.
DEADLINE JUNE 1 to apply!
This call aims to reward the “Best innovative solutions regarding Disaster and Resilience society gaps for first responders”. It will identify and evaluate innovative technological solutions in the field of disaster resilience, capable of addressing capability gaps faced by emergency responders (firefighters, emergency services, civil protection, etc.), while accelerating innovation uptake.
Our member organisations, both on a National, and Associate level, could be a strong match for this call.
The objective is to identify mature innovative technologies that enhance the safety, efficiency, and situational awareness of first responders during operations. Proposed solutions must address key capability gaps and priority needs of first responders, and must have reached a high Technology Readiness Level (TRL 8–9) to be eligible for funding.
With the support of DIREKTION, you could benefit from a €10,000 prize, which includes :
- Communication & promotion of your solution
- Participation in European events on Disaster Resilience Society (DRS)
- Attendance at the award ceremony during a DRS event (late 2025)
- A dedicated pitch session at INTERSCHUTZ in June 2026
