On 13. November 2025, the scheduled meeting of the Center for Fire Statistics (European Wing) took
place in Rostock, Germany.
The following questions were on the agenda:
1. The book "100 Cities – 100 Years" (Volume 1) has been published. Here is the book link:
https://generis-publishing.com/book.php?title=100-cities-100-years-2510.
The continuation of the work on volumes 2 and 3 was discussed.
2. The questionnaire has been updated for the World Fire Statistics / No31 Report. In addition
to the standard questions on national fire statistics, the questionnaire also contains a table
on the topic of Hospital Fires.
3. Furthermore, it was decided to prepare additional special chapters. On the one hand, it is
about an update on the topic of fire risks. Then there will be a chapter that for the first time
contains an estimate of the fires in all countries of the world (As a reminder, the current
reports of the CTIF Statistics Centre unite an average of 30-40 countries per year).
4. It is also planned to give a special chapter on the fire situations of both more than 100
Chinese cities and a statement on fires in the major cities in the Philippines.
As always, all states, regions or major cities are invited to participate in the work of the CTIF Statistics
Centre.
