Founded in Paris in 1900, CTIF is the oldest international firefighting association and the only organization of its kind where professional and volunteer firefighters can meet on an equal footing.

CTIF membership opens the door to sharing knowledge with like-minded all over the world.

CTIF is made up of full members (member countries) who send representatives to the CTIF Assembly of Delegates once a year to vote on important issues and elect representatives to the CTIF Executive Committee.
