Dear Commission Members,

CTIF COMMISSION FOR EXTRICATION AND NEW TECHNOLOGY
Invitation to Working Meeting and Technical Excursion
Stavanger, Norway
9-13 November 2026
The meeting will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss emerging rescue challenges, and continue the Commission's important work related to vehicle extrication, road rescue, alternative fuel vehicles, and new transportation technologies.
In addition to the Commission meetings, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a technical excursion focusing on the ongoing electrification of public transportation in the Stavanger region. The programme will include presentations from public transport operators and emergency services, as well as visits to operational facilities and electric bus infrastructure.
These activities will provide valuable insight into the practical implications of new technologies for rescue operations, firefighting tactics, and emergency response planning.

• Commission working sessions
• National updates from member countries
• Discussions on emerging rescue technologies and operational challenges
