Clara has suggested HCC Lugano or Catalonia Barcelona and that Crowne Plaza is also good (if not more expensive!).

Draft agenda:

The working days for the meeting will be on Monday and Tuesday 11th and 12th and on the 13th, if you are available, perhaps a visit the adjacent Emergency Centre (police, medical and fire service), participation in a fire drill and simulation related with hazardous materials, a fire station visit and visits to notable places in Barcelona (Sagrada Familia, Mountain zone, meteorological observatori, Passeig de Gràcia,...).  Clara has proposed these plans for the 13th but they are subject to change and are flexible.

Transport from the airport:

The best way is with a bus called Aerobus. It departs from both terminals of Barcelona Airport and goes directly to Plaza Espanya, right next to the meeting point and the hotels proposed.

There is a bus every 5 minutes which brings you to the centre of Barcelona. The first stop station is Plaça España.

The hotels proposed are around 5 minutes walking from this point. Please find a map below (the arrow is the working meeting point).

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any further queries.
