The 29th German Fire Days will run parallel with Interschutz in June 2020
29th German Fire Days - a DFV major event in Hanover under the motto "Safety / Life"
Berlin / Hannover:
During Interschutz, the 29th German Fire Day starts in Hanover. Under the motto "Safety. Life", the German Fire Service Association (DFV) and its partners want to further develop the future of the fire service. The German Fire Day will take place from 15 to 20 June 2020 parallel to the world's leading trade fair Interschutz.
"We will deal with problems that affect firefighters worldwide, such as climate change. All security forces are confronted with this worldwide. It is more and more important to exchange ideas and not to lose sight of the bigger picture. We want to offer a forum for this, "explains Frank Hachemer, who is responsible for the conception of the 29th German Fire Brigade Day as DFV Vice President.
The German Fire Brigade Association takes up the main theme of Interschutz with a top-class international conference and specialist events: "Teams, tactics, technology - networking and protection." Networking is also presented in all its aspects at the Interschutz booth of the German Fire Service Association and its partners - from the participation of international fire brigade associations such as the World Fire Service Association CTIF to the plastic representation of the "network of helping hands" by all visitors themselves.
The 29th German Fire Days will take place in cooperation with the state of Lower Saxony, the state fire department Niedersachsen, the city of Hannover and the fire department Hannover. The program includes, among other things, a blue-light mile in the city center as well as a large closing event for all firefighters. Panel meetings with the participation of top politicians as well as the extensive exhibition appearance of the DFV round off the "Feuerwehrwoche" in the Lower Saxony state capital.
