Technical Days 2020 May 13, 14, 15 - CANCELLED

UPDATE March 16, 2020: It was decided on Monday morning, March 16, that this year´s Technical Days be cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. Stay tuned to CTIF.org and Technical Days website for updates.

Emergency intervention on vehicles (IUV) is today, and even more so tomorrow, a real challenge for emergency services. In the context of interventions for traffic accidents or vehicle fires, firefighters must adapt their techniques and equipment.

The SDIS 86, aware of these challenges, has initiated a proactive approach since 2005, in partnership with car manufacturers and manufacturers of road rescue equipment. An intervention protocol has been developed and training is being delivered at the Vienna Fire Brigade Training Centre.

In parallel with this approach, SDIS 86, in partnership with SDIS44, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Officiers de Sapeur-Pompiers and the Fédération Nationale des Sapeur-Pompiers de France, the Direction Générale de la Sécurité Civile et de la Gestion des Crises, the CTIF and the support of WeberRescue Systems and Renault, organised Technical Days at its training centre site in 2014, 2016 and 2018.

At the last edition, nearly 600 people (participants, exhibitors, lecturers,...), from 70 French departments and 17 different countries, were present to attend the conferences, workshops and tests scheduled. In view of the success of these technical days, SDIS 86 has decided to renew the organisation of this international event and would be happy to count you among its participants.
