The Wildland Fire Advisory Group created in the framework of the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction met recently in Germany. The CTIF Forest Fires Commission was invited to report on its activities and to exchange with wildland fire experts. This Group is part of the Global Wildland Fire Network initiated by the Global Fire Monitoring Center.
