Exhbitions along the competitions

  
Three different exhibitions could be visited all along the competitions. *"Historical Flags from Voluntary Fire Brigades of the Republic of Croatia" prepared by Mrs Biserka Vlahovic, a famous Croatian fire brigade historian. Thirty-two historical flags have been displayed from twelve counties, including the flag of the First Voluntary Fire Brigade in Varaždin dating from 1904 and being the oldest of the kind in Croatia. *Exhibition of Varaždin philatelists, inspired by the theme of fire fighting. A memorable postal stamp is exhibited too. It was designed by Daniel Popović, a designer from Zagreb, showing St. Florian, the patron of fire-fighters and the Varaždin city centre in the background. The exhibition has been organized by the Croatian Post Office and the Varaždin Club of Collectors. *The best caricatures dedicated to fire fighting from several countries are exhibited all along the competitions, thanks to the Croatian Fire Brigade Association and to the Croatian Association of Caricaturists.
