CTIF set up a certification procedure for fire brigades museums. Learn more...
The CTIF History, Museums and Documentation Commission proposed a definition of "fire brigade museums" and set up a certification procedure approved by the CTIF Delegates Assembly 2007. The commission has appointed a jury and chairman who are in charge of training all jury members and take care of an equal, i.e. standardised, application of the definition. The jury is made up of members of several national CTIF committees.
Four museums have been certified by the commission so far:
The commission currently examines the application of the Styrian Fire Museum (Austria).
