Thirty countries attended the CTIF Delegates Assembly and Symposium 2008. Several associate members, representatives of the CTIF World Fire Statistics Centre and honorary members made also their way to Colmar. A minute of silence was dedicated to fire fighters who lost their lives over the past months, and a solemn tribute was also given to Robert Dollinger, former CTIF President born in the Alsace region.
