The Youth Leaders Commission organises the Youth Fire Brigades competitions every two years and elaborates the competition rules. It was in 1977 in ETTELBRÜCK (Luxembourg) that the first Youth Fire Brigades competitions were held. 9 delegations from 5 countries had come together. The competitions nowadays welcome more than 20 nations on average, represented by more than 40 delegations, and totalling more than 600 participants! Germany, The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Italy, Denmark, France, Austria and Sweden were host to these competitions between over the past twenty years.
