CTIF Europe Commission

  

The CTIF Europe commission was founded in 2001 in order to :

  • develop a better understanding of fire matters throughout the European Union.
  • improve professional fire networks. establish a relationship with the European Commission and represent the views of CTIF.
  • raise issues of strategy and policy related to Europe gather better data on fires.

Who presides over the commission? Dennis DAVIS from the United Kingdom is the CTIF Europe commission’s current president. He leads the Federation of British Fire Organisations (FOBFO).

Who are the commission’s member countries?
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, Ireland, Luxembourg.
They do participate in meetings on a voluntary basis and can get support from their CTIF National Committee to cover travel and accommodation expenses.

The last meeting has taken place on April 16th 2012 in Paris, France. Please find below the report of the meeting.The next meeting will be on September 21st 2012 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
