The CTIF commission Rescue and Fire Fighting on Airports was founded in order to:
Who presides over the commission? Veli-Matti SääSKILAHTI from Finland is the current president of the CTIF commission Rescue and Fire Fighting on Airports.
Who are the commission’s member countries? Germany, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Austria.
Participation in commission meetings is open to all staff of airports and community fire brigades, airport authorities, civil aviation authorities, industries and anyone with a high interest in rescue and fire fighting at airports. Commission members do participate in meetings on a voluntary basis and can get support from their CTIF National Committee to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
