CTIF International Fire Brigades Competitions

  

The CTIF International Fire Brigades Competitions Commission was founded in order to:

  • plan and prepare the International Fire Brigades Competitions held every four years.
  • support the international competition leader in his work before and during the competitions.
  • take into account proposals aimed at modifying the international fire brigade competition rules and carrying out possible changes to the rules.
  • organise training sessions for the members of the panel of judges so as to ensure they have an equal training level.
  • promote such competitions in the fire fighting world.
  • provide support to the organizing countries develop and promote youth fire brigades activities throughout Europe.

Who presides over the commission? Hans Heinrich UHLMANN from Germany is the CTIF International Youth Fire Brigades Commission commission’s current president.

Who are the commission’s member countries? Germany, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary. Commission members do participate in meetings on a voluntary basis and can get support from their CTIF National Committee to cover travel and accomodation expenses.
